As an experienced prac-ademic (practitioner + academic), JoEllyn has directed and led Executive Education programs and workshops on leadership, strategy, digital transformation, business model canvas, strategic talent management, employer brand, diversity and coaching for companies and executives. In addition to consulting on digital learning and digital transformation, she develops competency frameworks and feedback tools for
improving individual performance and alignment with corporate objectives. JoEllyn’s previous clients include Oman Oil, Shell, Barclays, MasterCard, Carlsberg, Tate & Lyle, Grupo Maseca, Hanover, HRG, DeBeers, Fuller’s, General Motors, Department for Transport and Metropolitan Police.

EdD and MSc in Learning and Leadership from University of Pennsylvania and Wharton Fellow. MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business. BA French and Foreign Service from Baylor University.

JoEllyn’s research concentrates on the use of organizational tools for performance improvement. She applies her research in blended learning and building online learning cultures for organizations in most parts of the world. She is also one of the leading thinkers on employer brand as a guide for driving employee engagement and authentic workplaces. Her work on the Employer Brand Gap is the first of its kind to look at the difference between what employers promise and employees experience in the working environment from both perspectives.

JoEllyn is also CEO of TalentDOC and Chief Learning Officer of TalentSage. Prior to co-founding TalentNous, JoEllyn worked on several continents in various capacities as Senior Advisor to ICEDR (research / corporate consortium), CEO of Executive Education at Cass Business School, Managing Director of CorpU-EMEA, Director of Executive Education at London Business School, Manager for Deloitte Consulting and in internet start-ups.
